Grounding strips are one of the simple measures used in machinery and equipment to effectively combat disturbances. The grounding connection should generally be as short as possible and low-impedance. Hole diameters, cross-sections, and lengths are tailored to applications using the relevant Murrelektronik products. Manufactured from highly flexible E-copper strands with crimped contact sleeves, they offer excellent RF properties, ensuring effective interference dissipation, such as in EMC filters. Simultaneously, a secure protective grounding connection is established with a high conductor cross-section. Thanks to their minimal transition and connection resistance, they are well-suited for grounding and earthing connections. The flexible grounding straps with 16 mm² or 25 mm² are also highly suitable for potential equalization between moving machine parts. The traditional and labor-intensive assembly with cable shoes is eliminated, and the press-welded ends enhance contact reliability.
